Dialectical Behavior Therapy: Treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder.

DBT can help get you out of hell.

You’re so tired.

Tired of the craziness your life has become. Tired of feeling let down by the people in your life- the people who were “supposed” to be there for you. Tired of all your relationships causing you pain. Tired of your out-of-control emotions, that just don’t ever let up and the pain your emotions bring.

You wish you knew what to do.

You wish you knew how to make people understand what you’re going through and how much pain you’re in. You wish you weren’t constantly afraid that people will leave you, yet you continue to push them away. You wish you could stop pretending to be ok.

Whether or not you’ve been in therapy before, you know you can’t continue to live this way.

You’re ashamed of how you’ve behaved. You don’t understand why you feel this way and why you feel so damn much. You’re so ashamed for being this way and for the way you’ve behaved.

You’ve been blamed for your misery and emotional suffering.

You’ve been told that you aren’t trying hard enough and even accused of wanting to be miserable. You’re terrified to put yourself out there.

Finding a DBT therapist is so hard.

You’re so scared to trust a therapist; to let them in, because when you’ve trusted other people before, they only hurt you. Other people just don’t get it. They don’t understand what it’s like to be in so much emotional pain. You can’t spend more time feeling this anxious and you need help now.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

What you need is the best treatment to help you with what YOU need. You’re tired of feeling like sh*t and not knowing what to do. You want help solving the problems in YOUR life that are causing YOU so much pain.

You need a DBT therapist who gets it.

A DBT therapist who gets that you’ve tried to change your thinking and your life still sucks. You want to feel heard.

A DBT therapist who accepts AND challenges you.

When you reached out for help before, you were left feeling judged and blamed.

You need a therapist who knows you’re doing the best you can; who knows you’re trying really, really, hard, and things aren’t getting better. You want to learn how to find relief from your emotional suffering, debilitating anxiety, and relationship pain.

Why DBT?

DBT is different than other forms of psychotherapy.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy can help treat Borderline Personality Disorder or people who are emotionally reactive. It can help provide relief to overwhelming emotional suffering and intense anxiety.

DBT is for people who have trouble managing their emotions, whose relationships only seem to bring them pain. DBT is for highly sensitive people, whose relationships and emotions are causing them so much pain; and who are tired of hearing how they just need to think more positively when things really are that bad.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is about learning how to embrace acceptance, while also challenging yourself to make the changes needed in order to meet your goals.

DBT is about creating a life that’s worth living, not just simply existing in a life that’s full of pain. Dialectical Behavior Therapy can help you learn how to YOUR life’s problems, so you can live a life worth living.

DBT Therapy is Treatment for BPD

Across the globe, DBT has been shown to be effective in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder. A 2012 Cochrane review indicated that DBT is the only treatment with ample supportive research to conclude its effectiveness in the treatment of BPD. DBT has been designated as an empirically supported treatment with strong research support for treating BPD (APA, Div 12). In 2011, Time Magazine named DBT one of the top 100 new scientific discoveries for its impact on people with difficult-to-treat disorders.
